Swiss International University Hosts Med-Con 2025 to Advance Disease Prevention and Medical Research

Swiss International University (SIU) continues to strengthen its international academic presence by successfully hosting the Interuniversity Student Scientific and Practical Conference “Med-Con 2025: Prevention of Human Diseases”. The conference was held in celebration of the Day of Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and World Diabetes Day, positioning disease prevention and health innovation at the center of contemporary medical education.

The event reflects SIU’s strategic commitment to advancing preventive medicine, digital health, and interdisciplinary scientific collaboration across borders.


A Platform for Preventive Medicine and Digital Health

Med-Con 2025 focused on some of the most pressing challenges in modern healthcare, including:

  • Prevention of non-communicable and chronic diseases

The conference brought together 150 participants, including 120 students and faculty members from Swiss International University and 30 invited guests from partner institutions. A total of 55 scientific reports and presentations were delivered, highlighting both theoretical and applied research in medical sciences.
